began her career in Puerto Rico as a director/independent producer, playwright and theatre-in-education facilitator. She has worked as a director in Puerto Rico, the United States and Ecuador.  Some of her favorite works are Madre Selva: From Life to Spirit, Don Pedro Vive, Démosle luz verde a la nostalgia, El hombre de nuestro tiempo, I am not a Christmas Tree, a Musical Fantasy, The Waiting Room, The Girls Play and Enough!  Alma was an associate producer for Civil War Voices at the 2010 Midtown International Theater Festival. As theatre-in-education facilitator she have developed several children theatre project in Latin América. She is working in a book series about the theology of art. Currently, she is writing the fourth book of the series.
