is the director of theatrical productions including Graham Techler's The Panic of '29 (59E59), The Tycoons by Graham Techler (RAVE Theatre Festival, Outstanding Director Award), and Midnight at The Never Get by Mark Sonnenblick (York Theatre, Provincetown, NYMF, and Don't Tell Mama). Max is also a director of cutting-edge and award-winning cabaret performances at Lincoln Center, 54 Below, Joe's Pub, and Don't Tell Mama, as well as director and designer of concert productions for touring musicians. Max made his Broadway debut in 2019 as the Assistant Director of Be More Chill at the Lyceum.
