believes that every individual possesses the gifts to help build a more connected world through the art of story.  She is the Founder and Creative Director of The Make Good Project  - a non-profit dedicated to providing space, resources and community for women of color to create art in atmospheres that promote wellness.  In 2024, Make Good produced two 29-hour professional workshops, and several community facing workshops and presentations. Other work includes being an ongoing Co-Producer of the annual community engagement festival, Celebration of Black Voices, at Barrington Stage Company in the Berkshires; instructor of an original class called "Resilience" at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts; Lecturer in the MFA Dramaturgy Program at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University (“Topics in Anti-Oppressive Theater Practice”);  Founder and Principal at “Powerful Communications” - a consulting company that develops programs at the intersection of culture, community and collaboration (clients have included: the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, BAM, the Broadway production of “The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window” starring Oscar Issac and Rachel Brosnahan, and more). Melle holds an MFA from NYU, is a Certified Diversity Professional, and is a graduate of the CTI Spring 25 Cohort. She loves documenting our lives through storytelling.
