Originally from New York, Australian-American Natalie made her Broadway debut in the original Broadway cast of Hair.  With her dance background (Royal Ballet’s Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty) producers tapped her early on to choreograph Hair in Toronto, Boston, Paris (playing Jeanie there in French), and finally Melbourne’s premiere season.  Natalie liked Australia; Australia liked Natalie, and roles ensued (Musicals: Rizzo in Grease, Julia in Two Gentlemen of Verona, Mona in Dames At Sea, Magenta in Rocky Horror, and the original quartet in Gershwin; Plays: Cleopatra in Shakespeare’s Anthony and Cleo, Maya in The Archbishop’s Ceiling, etc.; and Television: Bellbird, Number 96, Carson’s Law, A Country Practice, Flying Doctors, plus numerous roles with the ABC.)  After Melbourne’s season as Charmin in The Magic Show, she returned to Broadway to play that role for several years.  American regional theatre favorites include the groundbreaking revival at Paper Mill of Follies, Grushinskaya in Grand Hotel for Walnut Street (also, a role she played in London’s West End).  Off-Broadway highlights include Sophie in The Housewives of Mannheim (59 East 59^th Street) and Georgia in her own play, A Brush with Georgia O’Keeffe (5 months run as well as at The Smithsonian in DC).  Additional writing includes a tribute to Harold Arlen, Get Happy! (two seasons in Australia).  She is currently at work on a one-woman play for herself. She also directs and produces.
