recently joined TRU as a member. She completed the PDMP Foundations course and is thrilled to continue learning more about producing. She co-founded Breaking Barriers with Toolbox Theatre as a way to produce original work with artistic colleagues. She’s also directed and stage-managed theatrical productions. As an actor and singer, she’s performed classical, contemporary, musical theater, and devised works. As a member of TCCAN (Twin Cities Cabaret Artist Network), she’s seen artists bring their work from idea form to production at venues around town. She’s also an aspiring elementary school teacher. She recently completed graduate school for teaching and would like to teach in the 2025-2026 school year. She’s compelled with multiple aesthetics: often stylistic and/or surreal ways that theater can convey stories and celebrate the human experience; non-realistic forms in which theater, dance, and music connect to human expression. Sara particularly likes theater which builds community. Based in Minnesota, she feels grateful to be able to connect remotely with TRU online and to grow her skills in the area of producing.
