is a New York City-based director and arts administrator currently serving as the Founding Artistic Director of The Dare Tactic, Associate Artistic Director of Planet Connections Theatre Festivity and as an Artistic Assistant for The Drama League of New York. As a producer Ortega has focused on the development of new works at various stages of progress. He has produced works at WOW Cafe Theatre, ShapeShifter Lab, St. Paul’s Theatre, Pace University, The White Horse Tavern, and Melville Gallery.
