TRU Actors – you spoke, and we listened. No headshots required this year. However...

We heard you - it's costly to bring 60 headshots to an audition (although we always return headshots not kept by the auditors. And headshots is a necessary cost of doing business.) This year we will be creating "casting sheets" with 6 actors per sheet, organized by time slot. We still require you to email (or snail mail) us your headshot, resume and a competed application. Attach it all to an email sent to TRUActors@gmail.com and type into the body of the email the following info (do not attach), which will appear on the casting sheet along with a thumbnail of your headshot. (Type this info into the body of an email to reduce the possibility that we mistype it on the sheet.) Send in this EXACT order:

IT PAYS TO APPLY EARLY! The first 80 applicants are automatically accepted. After that, only TRU members and Equity members are automatically accepted; non-member applications will be passed in after the final submission date of May 7th, subject to availability. If we do not have room for you, we will issue a check refund of your submission fee. If you cancel after we schedule you, and you do it with more than 3 days notice, we will issue a refund mins a $10 processing fee. Cancelations less than 3 days before the event will be considered on a case by case basis.
