In the room: Blair Russell, Broadway, off-Broadway and Fringe producer opening the Denver Immersive Repertory Theater (DIRT) in Denver this spring; and Elijah Bienz and Casey Ingraham of Mystery Players, NYC's musical mystery theater troup. We'll talk about various forms of alternative theater with a focus on immersive theater, inter-active theater and devised theater. How do you know if a project will work better in a traditional or immersive presentation? With enough imagination, can any work be enhanced by a non-traditional approach? Some feel immersive productions have a more social feel and are therefor more attractive to young audiences. Is that proving to be the case?
