In the room: Claire Feuille and Josh Dooley of Feuille Dooley Productions (I Was a Teenage She-Devil and How Not to Fund a Honeymoon at the Ed Fringe, upcoming Relative Motion at London's Southwark Playhouse; co-producers on Operation Mincemeat); Michelle Mangan, Fringe publicist; Peter Michael Marino, writer, performer, director, producer, and educator (acted in Edinburgh Fringe in Desperately Seeking the Exit, Late with Lance, Show Up and Show Up, Kids!; Edinburgh Fringe producer of Jason Kravits’ Off the Top, Gary Busey’s One-Man Hamlet, Joe’s NYC Bar); Molly Morris of Ghostlight Global, a company that books tours of the Edinburgh Fringe for US theater companies and others. This will be a followup look at the Edinburgh Fringe from the business and producer perspective, and an insider's look at how it happens and how to succeed. We'll talk about the need for a press person, and how Michelle splits her time between representing shows and representing venues. Plus how Claire and Josh and Peter use festivals as a step in the development of new works and the division of responsibility between them and their artists. What kinds of shows interest them, and how do they decide which pieces are a good fit for Edinburgh?

He is a co-producer on the Broadway Tony-nominated Operation Mincemeat.

CLAIRE FEUILLE
As a principle in Feuille Dooley Productions, Claire recently brought two shows to the Edinburgh Fringe (I Was A Teenage She-Devil and How Not to Fund A Honeymoon), wth plans for bringing Relative Motion to London's Southwark Playhouse in 2026. She is a co-producer on the Broadway Tony-nominated Operation Mincemeat. She started as an actor, focusing on Shakespeare, andy training at Dartmouth, LAMDA, and the Powerhouse Theater Company at Vassar in Classical Acting. She branched into Sketch Comedy at UCB in New York, which lead to a deep love of comedy of all kinds! As a writer, she takes inspiration from historical fiction and classical plays with a passion for adaptation, using old stories to say something new. She brought a historical fiction cabaret to Edinburgh Fringe in 2022 Like Other Girls, a sensible roast of musical theater's finest historical women.

MICHELLE MANGAN
has managed communications and PR for Traverse Theatre, Citizens Theatre, SHEDINBURGH Fringe Festival, Summerhall, Royal Lyceum Theatre, French Film Festival UK, Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival, DANCE:FILM Festivals, Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival, EMI Music, National Theatre of Scotland, Outsiders Film Festival and Virgin Records amongst others. For over 15 years she has promoted successful venues and work at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and spent four years as Senior PR and Marketing Manager for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society. She is on the Board of Trustees for Scottish Documentary Institute.

PETER MICHAEL MARINO
is a NYC-based theater artist, producer, director, press rep, and educator. In the before times, he collaborated with Washington National Opera and The Kennedy Center on several projects including writing, directing and hosting their popular video series The Weird and Wonderful World of Opera. He wrote several educational stage shows for Washington National Opera, featuring hundreds of performers (and a horse) for thousands of school kids from 4th-10th grade. He was the clown/host of the cirque hit Moonrise Circus for over two years in Bushwick & Times Square. He’s the creator (and sometimes-performer) of the long-running, critically acclaimed, interactive family comedy Show Up, Kids! currently running at The Rat in DUMBO. He is the co-host of the podcast “Arts and Craft” where artists talk to fellow artists about their craft. He was one of the first American artists to present interactive shows during lockdown and his critically acclaimed sci-fi/toy theater homage Planet of the Grapes Live - which received the 2021 EdFringe Infallibles Award for Creativity. He is currently adapting “...Grapes” for the live stage; an interactive/immersive B-movie inspired karaoke experience; and a non-verbal, object-movement comedy for very young audiences called Confetti. MOLLY MORRIS
is a proud graduate of the TRU PDMP (Producer Development and Mentorship Program) and a co-founder of TRU YPAC (Young Patrons and Artists Circle). She began her musical theatre career performing in regional and touring productions across the United States. As her career evolved she decided that rather than exit the stage she would study the art of producing theatre in order to continue to develop the work that she had become so passionate about. Her objective is to propel careers of emerging talent and to be a champion of writers. In 2016, alongside parter Terry McNicholas, she founded International Incidents, a New York and Los Angeles based theatre production company dedicated to developing original plays and musicals with an ethos of positive message and social impact. With Molly’s creative background and Terry’s experience as a world recognized executive, International Incidents combines art and commerce to develop long term business strategy for the sustainability and success of a property. Current production: Come from Away on Broadway, previously at La Jolla Playhouse, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Ford’s theatre in Washington DC and Toronto’s Royal Alexandra Theatre. Featured on several ‘best of’ lists for 2015/16 including the LA Times, San Diego Union Tribune, the Washington Post, the Toronto Globe and Mail and winner of 6 prestigious San Diego Craig Noel Awards. Molly and Terry are worked closely with Junkyard Dogs’ Sue Frost and Randy Adams and marketing partners AKA and On The Rialto to develop a groundbreaking partnership with American Airlines. The partnership focuses on initiatives based on community engagement, educational campaigns, and honoring the legacy of the individuals who are part of the Come from Away story including Beverley Bass, the first female captain in commercial aviation and the first female captain of the 777.
