"Just wanted to give you an update on the California premiere of American Whup-Ass, which is going great guns. Thanks again for all your great work; the TRU reading really helped refine the script and point up some things that I polished in the rehearsals for this production."~Justin Warner, writer (American Whup-Ass, TRU Voices '08) "I want to thank you so much for the opportunity to have my play read in the TRU Voices Series. It was great to have the chance to work with [my producer] and to gain some exposure for the script. The panel was very informative and helpful, and I am very grateful for their input. It was a very valuable experience in many, many ways." |

"Just wanted to pass on my heartfelt thanks to you and the rest of the TRU team for the opportunity to take part in the TRU Voices series. The entire experience has been a wonderful learning experience, and has already brought the script much farther along toward a production than any efforts of my own, sitting out there in the wilds of Germany, could probably have ever done. Rest assured I'll be submitting pieces to future competitions." "This was a great experience for me - I learned so much. Thank you guys for having the brains to set up a program that gives newbies a hands-on experience." ~ Toni Hart, producer mentee (Can I Really Date a Guy Who Wears a Yarmulke?, TRU Voices '09) |
